Eduardo Carvalho Tess, Graduate in Law from the University of São Paulo Law School – USP (1953) and is a specialist in Civil Procedural Law (course taken at the same school – 1967).

His has background in Corporate, Banking and Financial Market, International Law, Civil Litigation.

Founder of the law firm and, currently, of counsel in financial and real estate law.  Commissioner of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), São Paulo Chapter OAB/SP (1974 – 1998) and OAB’s Federal Board (1989 – 1990).  Minister of Labor and Social Security (1963).  Civil Law Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC/SP (1973 – 1974).  Judge of the Regional Electoral Court (1995 – 1998).  President of the São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute (1987 – 1989).

He is a member of the Brazilian Lawyers’ Institute – IAB, São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute – IASP, and American Bar Association – ABA. Enrolled with the Brazilian Bar Association in 1953.
