Eduardo Carvalho Tess Filho is a Law Graduate from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC-SP (1983).
He specialized in International Law from the University of São Paulo Law School – USP (1989). He specialized in Comparative Law from the Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation – Dallas/Texas (1990). He studied Sociology and Politics at Glasgow University (1977 – 1979). Fellow of the Salzburg Seminar on American Studies – Section 275 – Austria (1989). Of counsel for the State of São Paulo Administration for international matters (1992 – 1994). President of OAB/SP’s Commission on International Law and Commission on Law and Globalization (2003 – 2012). Member of the Board of the Center for Studies of Law Firms – CESA (1992 – 2015). Director of the Superior Board of Legal and Legislative Matters of the State of São Paulo Industry Federation – FIESP (2000 – 2012). Member of the Board of the State of São Paulo Association of Art Friends – APAA. He is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute – IASP, American Chamber of Commerce – AMCHAM, British Chamber of Commerce – BRITCHAM, Inter-Pacific Bar Association – IPBA, International Bar Association – IBA (member of IBA America’s Consulting Board), American Bar Association – ABA, The Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain e International Association of Independent Law Firms – INTERLAW.
